Dreaming of winning the lottery

We all fantasise about what we would do if we won the lottery don’t we? I know I have probably spent a countless number of hours imagining what I would do with the money.

First and foremost, I would buy houses for our immediate family so we could all be mortgage-free – imagine that! I’d most definitely look to buy a house for my in-laws that’s closer to us. I would put aside money for the boys in a trust fund so that they wouldn’t need to worry about needing loans for their education or getting on the property ladder. Then, I’d love to travel the world for a while. Being a gadget geek I’d spend out on all the latest tech, and I’m sure Mr H would want to own a few nice sports cars too! Ahh the dream!

I remember buying a lottery ticket when I was younger, picking my numbers from the form and going to the counter to pay. In return, you’d receive your pink ticket. There was only one type of lotto available back then but did you know, you are able to access many others now and better still, you can purchase them at a click of a button online without the need to head into a shop. Lottoland is one of these places and the website allows you to bet on the outcome of the EuroMillions, Irish Lotto and the American Powerball – to name but a few. It’s just like buying your usual ticket (you still choose your numbers) but the only difference is that instead of purchasing a ticket, you are betting on the outcome and any winnings is paid out by Lottoland.

Mr H likes to have a flutter now and then and I tend to join him by betting on the Grand National. We used to do the lottery religiously before we had the boys but now we only ever seem to remember to do so when there is a big rollover. I like the fact you are able to choose different types of lottos to be a part of and more often than Lottoland offers you free bets and other special offers. There is also a section on the website for chances to win instantly too.

There’s 50 million up for grabs in the EuroMillions this weekend and I’m feeling lucky – are you?
