My boys are very much into typical boys toys – cars, trains superheroes you name it they love them all! So when Fisher Price sent us the Imaginext Power Rangers Morphing Megazord they were over the moon and couldn’t wait to get stuck in.

The Power Rangers Playset stands at 3ft tall – over half of M’s height! It offers lots of interactive and imaginative play. It’s eyes lights up when you move its head, the body twists, the arms can be elevated and its hands can hold items too.

The playset has a number of power pads where you can place the Power Rangers onto which activates different items. The power pad at the top opens up the Megazord’s chest to reveal a cannon where you can shoot out gold coins. There is also another cannon hidden in the leg which flips out when you turn the power pad above it launches missiles. The boys absolutely loved this element (what boys don’t love being able to fire things from toys?) They had great fun shooting these missiles across the room.

At the back of the set, there is a lift as well as a pod type area on one of its feet. We found this handy to store all the bits and pieces away when you are not playing with it.

The Morphing Megazord comes with two Power Rangers (we were sent an additional pack) The boys have been engrossed in roleplaying Power Ranger adventures together – there is so much fun to be had with this set. It would make a fantastic gift for Christmas or Birthdays
