The Kettle Shed Tea review

The Kettle Shed was sent to me with the purpose of writing an honest review in exchange for the item. All images and opinions are my own.

If you’ve read my twitter bio then you will know that I’m a bit of a tea lover – earl grey mainly but hubby and I also also enjoy chinese tea most evenings after our dinner.

We were offered some tea from The Kettle Shed to try out recently – who could say no to that? We opted for the chinese oolong tea but they stock a huge range, ranging from black, herbal, fruit, loose tea and more.

What impressed me most about this company is that every time a box of tea is purchased, they donate tea to homeless shelters across the UK which I think is such a great idea.

The packaging is very nicely designed and each box comes with 15 biodegradable fuso tea bags. Not only are you helping out the homeless when purchasing these, you are also being environmentally friendly too! Priced at £5.99 it works out to be around 30 odd pence per teabag.

Taste wise… I’ve had oolong tea before so I already had expectations. I found the Kettle Shed version quite light and refreshing. The first time, I followed the instructions and took the teabag out after 3 minutes but found the taste very mild which was quite surprising considering how packed with leaves the teabags are. Second time around I decided to keep the teabag in for a little longer which was better. Hubby and I do like our tea quite strong though so I guess it’s very dependent on how you enjoy drinking your tea.
