10 popular posts of 2015

According to WordPress I published 201 posts in 2015. I’ve had so much fun blogging and have made some lovely blogging friends as well as getting some amazing opportunities through this blog too.

I thought I would share with you some of my most popular posts from the year.

Pork Escalope with Swede Mash
I started Slimming World in July last year and although I’ve fallen off that wagon since Christmas we still regularly eat SW friendly meals. The Pork Escalope and Swede mash dish is so easy to make – perfect for throwing together on a week night when you don’t want to spend too much time in the kitchen.

Leek, Pea and Ham Farfalle
Another Slimming World recipe – the boys love this dish too and for me – it’s a great way to get them to eat leeks as usually they only stick to things like brocoli and carrot!

Am I a Tiger Mum?
I wrote this post towards the end of the year because I was worried I was pushing E too hard by doing extra work with him in the evenings to assist what he was learning from school. I’ll leave it up to you to decide if you think I’m a Tiger Mum!

The truth about….having another baby
Do we or don’t we go for baby number three? Why I can’t decide whether to take the plunge….

The TV Experiment
We conducted an experiment to reduce the amount of TV the boys were watching and we were really surprised with the results!

10 ways to keep you children cool at night
This post was really popular when we had the mini-heatwave back in June.

How do you explain death to your child?
We’ve not really had to broach this in much detail but as E is getting older he does understand the concept of death.

The curse of the comforter
The pure fear of losing your child’s most prized posession? Yeh that happened to us!

Babyloss Awareness Week – my story
I suffered an early miscarriage when we were trying for baby number two – this is my story.

10 ways to prepare for the start of school
