I have always been a huge lover of pretty stationery and I still remember getting ridiculously excited when the end of Summer was approaching because it meant that I got to choose brand new stationery for the school year! My school days may well be long gone but the stationery habit didn’t stop there. I still can’t resist popping into places like Paperchase and WH Smith to have a mooch around.
E will be starting Year 2 next week and whilst I have been quite organised and sorted his school uniform out – I forgot about stationery! We both had a browse on The Works Back to School section online so he could pick out some items. I couldn’t resist and chose some items too.
Take a look at our choices below:
We both love our notebooks – I am always picking them up whenever I see any that I think E will like. He tends to fill them drawing and stories which are just super cute! I fill mine up with random list (upon list) of things I need to do, things to buy, blog posts I need to write – literally anything that I fear I will forget has to be jotted down. I absolutely LOVE the Panda notebook I think it is just soooo cute!
The boys seem to have a bit of an obsession with novelty rubbers at the moment so it wasn’t much of a surprise that E chose the fake food ones as well as the twist erasers. As for highlighter pens – well you can never have too many right? I also love the double ended colour markers (bottom right) they are a genius space saving idea!
If you’re like me and have forgotten to buy the stationery essentials why not take a look at the brilliant range from The Works. Many items start at just £1 which is such a bargain and you can order them into your local store to collect or have them delivered direct.
