If you’re looking for some family fun, this Bank Holiday then look no further. Epsom Downs Racecourse is holding a Bank Holiday Family Fun Day that will be jam-packed with activities to keep everyone entertained.

Trainers Open Morning

Start the day by seeing what goes on behind the scenes at the training yards. You’ll have the opportunity to see the horses on the gallops as well as the chance to chat with the trainers and stable staff too. (from 8.30am – 9.30am)

Fun for the whole family – Bank Holiday Family Fun Day, Epsom

Eight horse races are lined up to race throughout the day for the adults, including the Pertemps Champions Willberry Charity Derby.

Alongside these races, there will be entertainment for the children including face painting, a climbing wall, zip wire, a Bouncy castle and children’s running races on the track. (Gates open at 11.30am with the first horse race starting at 2pm)

Superheroes dress up

Following on from the success of previous years, superheroes will be the theme for the day and families are encouraged to don their best superhero costumes and enter the “Best Dressed” competition.

We can’t wait to visit the Epsom Downs Bank Holiday Family Fun Day, and the boys are already getting excited about what costume they are going to wear. It will be a great way to spend the bank holiday and mark the end of the summer holidays.
