We enjoyed the glorious sunshine this weekend with a trip to Brighton. We went on the @brightoni360official which is right by the sea front.
The i360 pod take a slow journey up, allowing you to take in views across Brighton and the South Downs 450ft above ground. There’s a bar inside with drinks and snacks available to purchase and the experience lasts 25 minutes.
Afterwards, we headed to the open air roller rink for a roller skating session!

in the garden.

![📚 Are you ready for World Book Day? 📚
[AD - Gifted] I don't know about you, but I have never made the boys a costume for #WorldBookDay. I just don't have it in me to be creative that way. Their costumes have always been bought or cobbled together with what we already have, and luckily, the school allow you to wear pyjamas to school, which makes things a lot easier!
M has been living in his @TheRealTomGates pyjamas recently, and I think he might wear these when his World Book Day dress-up day comes around (the school celebrate with Book Week rather than just Book Day)
The boys have been fans of Tom Gates for a while now. M has always loved reading books that make him laugh and contain humour - they tend to keep him engaged in reading.
Did you know that there are now 20 Tom Gates storybooks to get stuck into? Ideal for kids aged 6-12, the series consists of feel-good, hilarious books full of photos and stories about Tom's life at home and school. Best of all, you can read them in any order.

We went to check out the newly opened @laserquestkingston last week.
Laser Quest, VR Experiences and Arcades all under one roof means only one thing - bundles of fun and games for the kids at really affordable prices.
Laser Quest games start from just £7.95 but you can also buy a Laserquest and VR Experience combo pass.
You need to purchase tokens for the arcades (they’re all 1 token to play). Arcade tokens are 6 for £5 or 12 for £10
Feeling super lucky that this is practically on our doorstep and we will definitely be back again because Mr H came second in our Laser Quest game and refuses to be beaten by E!

Last year, Mr H and I were lucky enough to be invited along to Cirque du Soleil’s Amaluna at The Royal Albert Hall which was incredible.
This year, Cirque was back in residence at The Albert Hall with their new family-friendly show OVO which meant the boys got to experience their first taste of Cirque.
Portuguese for egg, OVO is centred around a colourful ecosystem and the bugs that reside there. Unlike Amaluna, there’s no real storyline as such, but as this was aimed at a family audience this didn’t matter one bit.
We were transfixed watching act after act. There were Butterflies, Ants, Spiders and Fleas with foot juggling, a trapeze team, and tightrope walking. The costumes were bright and colourful and the cast were full of energy. Although I have to say, the boys found the comical love story between an Ant and a Butterfly that filled the gaps between each act absolutely hilarious. I don’t think I’ve ever heard M belly laugh so loudly, he loved the slapstick comedy of it all.
They saved the best for the finale which saw Crazy Crickets bouncing off trampolines and up onto the walls – it was most certainly one of our main highlights.
Whilst OVO may be vastly different from other Cirque shows, it certainly didn’t disappoint. We felt the first half was a little slow-going but the boys were sat in awe most of the time – especially in the second half. The show lasts two-hours in total with a 20-minute interval in between. Depending on your child, I’d say it would be suitable for children aged 5+
If you’re after an evening of magical entertainment for the whole family, you can catch Cirque du Soleil’s OVO at The Royal Albert Hall. Performances are on daily until 4th March and you can book your tickets via their website.
Th show is then touring around Europe but is back in the UK from 16th August and will be showing in Liverpool, Sheffield, Glasgow, Notting, Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham so be sure to book your tickets in advance so you don’t miss out!

I love Cirque – it’s the one show we all go to and all love – spanning primary, teen and adult. It costs a squillion but so worth it. We say that show in Sydney a few years ago. Love the foot jugglers! #KCACOLS

Oh I’m so jealous! I would LOVE to see Cirque! My niece is a gymnastic coach at our local club where a lot of the gymnastics go to work for it and she got invited to go watch it too. One day I will go, probably when the kids are old enough to come and enjoy it. #KCACOLS
