Easter Activities for children in and around Kingston

With only a few weeks left until Easter and aside from ALL the chocolate the kids will be consuming – have you thought about how to entertain them over the Easter break?

I thought it would be useful to put together a list of Easter Activities in and around the Kingston area.

Easter Activities for children in and around Kingston

Thames Ditton Miniature Railway

It’s no secret that my boys are HUGE train fans. We have been regulars at this miniature railway ever since E was old enough. It’s a great afternoon of fun for the whole family. There are a variety of miniatures to ride on, a small shop selling sandwiches, cakes and drinks but you can also bring your own picnic to enjoy too.

The miniature railway opens on Easter Sunday 27 March and Monday 28 March from 2-5.30pm and then the first Sunday of every month until October.

Tickets start from £2 for a single ride or £24.50 for a family of four.

Thanks for sharing this! RHS Wisley is a regular for us, as is Bocketts Farm, but I’d not heard of the Miniature railway – my little boy would love that!
