We enjoyed the glorious sunshine this weekend with a trip to Brighton. We went on the @brightoni360official which is right by the sea front.
The i360 pod take a slow journey up, allowing you to take in views across Brighton and the South Downs 450ft above ground. There’s a bar inside with drinks and snacks available to purchase and the experience lasts 25 minutes.
Afterwards, we headed to the open air roller rink for a roller skating session!

![[AD] The sun has finally made an appearance and the boys have been making the most of it by spending it
in the garden.

Last weekend we were invited to try out @tsarettaspice’s new Bottomless Brunch menu and I can tell you it was thumbs up all round!

![📚 Are you ready for World Book Day? 📚
[AD - Gifted] I don't know about you, but I have never made the boys a costume for #WorldBookDay. I just don't have it in me to be creative that way. Their costumes have always been bought or cobbled together with what we already have, and luckily, the school allow you to wear pyjamas to school, which makes things a lot easier!
M has been living in his @TheRealTomGates pyjamas recently, and I think he might wear these when his World Book Day dress-up day comes around (the school celebrate with Book Week rather than just Book Day)
The boys have been fans of Tom Gates for a while now. M has always loved reading books that make him laugh and contain humour - they tend to keep him engaged in reading.

We went to check out the newly opened @laserquestkingston last week.
Laser Quest, VR Experiences and Arcades all under one roof means only one thing - bundles of fun and games for the kids at really affordable prices.
Laser Quest games start from just £7.95 but you can also buy a Laserquest and VR Experience combo pass.
You need to purchase tokens for the arcades (they’re all 1 token to play). Arcade tokens are 6 for £5 or 12 for £10
Feeling super lucky that this is practically on our doorstep and we will definitely be back again because Mr H came second in our Laser Quest game and refuses to be beaten by E!

Valentines Day is just around the corner. It’s lovely to see the kids getting involved isn’t it and showing others how much they love and care about them. It is also a great reason to do some love related crafts with your kids so they can express their excitement for Valentine’s in a cute and relatively low-cost way. Save the roses and romance until they’re older, don’t you think? Plus who doesn’t love getting a homemade gift?
I thought I would put together a round up of my own favourite easy Valentines crafts for kids that you can do with them this Valentine’s Day (or even Galentine’s day!)
Valentine’s Cards
These are really cute and effective cards that are so simple to make. You can make a bouquet of hearts or a button heart for the front of your card to create your perfect Valentine’s card for someone special. This craft is ideal for all ages but younger children might need some help with cutting and sticking.
Origami Hearts
Give the gift of Origami Hearts in a Jar this Valentine’s Day. This one is possibly more for older kids and experienced crafters, but younger kids might find this fun to join in with. Folding up small paper hearts origami style and filling up a jar makes a great gift.
Easy Valentine’s Gift Bags
You need something to put your gift in, don’t you! Why not try this easy Valentine’s gift bag craft that E and M helped to make. It makes the perfect bag to put your newly made Valentine’s crafts in I think and they are simple to put together.

52 reasons why I Love You
Jane at Hodge Podge Days has some great craft ideas for any season but for Valentine’s Day; she has this lovely craft idea called 52 Reasons Why I Love You which is so lovely and a Valentine’s Paper Heart Wreath which is great for any ages too.
Fingerprint Heart Poem Keepsake
This is such a cute idea and a great way to involve all the family from Louise at Messy Little Monster. Plus you can adapt this idea to other products too if you don’t have a canvas to create the fingerprint heart poem canvas! She also has a great heart scribble mug which is a lovely keepsake and can be adapted to Mother’s Day and Father’s Day too amongst others!
A Valentine’s Door
Sophie over at Mama Mei has a great Valentine’s heart door which is perfect for role-playing once it is built. This looks ideal for toddlers and younger children.
Rose Petal Bath Bombs
Over on Thimble and Twig, you can find a step by step guide on making your own Valentine Rose Petal Bath Bombs. They look easy to do and I’m sure kids will have great fun making these!
Valentine’s Wrapping Paper
The Queen of Collage has a great selection of ideas including making your own Valentine’s wrapping paper using a kitchen roll tube and some tissue paper!
Valentine’s Day Sun Catchers
Jenny over The Gingerbread House has some great tutorials for making a Valentine’s Sun Catcher and a DIY paper gift bag to gift your presents in.
Nature Heart Collage
For something a little different, check out this lovely nature-inspired heart collage over on Craft Invaders. So simple but effective for something a little different than red hearts this Valentine’s Day.
