We enjoyed the glorious sunshine this weekend with a trip to Brighton. We went on the @brightoni360official which is right by the sea front.
The i360 pod take a slow journey up, allowing you to take in views across Brighton and the South Downs 450ft above ground. There’s a bar inside with drinks and snacks available to purchase and the experience lasts 25 minutes.
Afterwards, we headed to the open air roller rink for a roller skating session!

in the garden.

Last weekend we were invited to try out @tsarettaspice’s new Bottomless Brunch menu and I can tell you it was thumbs up all round!

![📚 Are you ready for World Book Day? 📚
[AD - Gifted] I don't know about you, but I have never made the boys a costume for #WorldBookDay. I just don't have it in me to be creative that way. Their costumes have always been bought or cobbled together with what we already have, and luckily, the school allow you to wear pyjamas to school, which makes things a lot easier!
M has been living in his @TheRealTomGates pyjamas recently, and I think he might wear these when his World Book Day dress-up day comes around (the school celebrate with Book Week rather than just Book Day)
The boys have been fans of Tom Gates for a while now. M has always loved reading books that make him laugh and contain humour - they tend to keep him engaged in reading.

We went to check out the newly opened @laserquestkingston last week.
Laser Quest, VR Experiences and Arcades all under one roof means only one thing - bundles of fun and games for the kids at really affordable prices.
Laser Quest games start from just £7.95 but you can also buy a Laserquest and VR Experience combo pass.
You need to purchase tokens for the arcades (they’re all 1 token to play). Arcade tokens are 6 for £5 or 12 for £10
Feeling super lucky that this is practically on our doorstep and we will definitely be back again because Mr H came second in our Laser Quest game and refuses to be beaten by E!

My boys are a little partial to watching Fireman Sam and I remember watching the original show myself when I was a child. The show has been through a few iterations since then and has gone from using stop-motion animation to now being fully CGI.
We were recently sent the new Fireman Sam Electronic Pontypandy Fire station to review. The boy’s love pretend play and can usually be found roleplaying various games together so when the Fireman Sam Playset arrived they were very excited. Although we have lots of transport vehicles such as planes, trains and cars this was our first Fireman Sam branded toy.
Fireman Sam’s fire station burnt down in 2015 and he has a brand new one in the series. This toy is the first one of the new fire station and is a replica of the one in the show.
The playset includes:
- Fire station with portable carry-handle
- Electronic console with desk lights, sounds and phrases
- Fireman Sam figure
- Elvis Figure
- Crash Test Dummy figure
- Ladder
- Fire Bucket and Fire Extinguisher

You will see from the video, my boys were a little disappointed that Jupiter the Fire Engine was not included. That seemed to be the main draw for them and I can understand why. A Fire Station with no Fire Engine to play with seems a little silly to me. If you are thinking of buying this playset I would highly recommend purchasing Jupiter separately (priced at £9.99) which we have since bought to compliment the set.
My eldest set about setting up the Fire Station props around the Fire Station which has a working lift and a cool Fireman’s Pole for Sam or Elvis to slide down. The playset needs no extra building and is ready to play with straight out of the box. It also comes with a very handy carry handle at the top making it easy to transport around.
The boys have really enjoyed making up their own Fireman Sam scenarios with this playset and have loved it even more with the addition of Jupiter. There is a whole range of products aside from the fire engine that also compliments this set – helicopter, ambulance mountain rescue and more.
The Fireman Sam Electronic PontyPany Firestation costs £39.99 and is available to buy online from Character Online.

Aw a little disappointing that the fire engine is separate but gotta love Fireman Sam he’s a Welshie 😉 How cute are your boys! They’re so sweet! The station looks more fun than I would have thought. Great pics of it well done. One I might keep in mind for my little boy when he gets bigger.
It does seem strange to sell the firestation without a fire engine. My grandson would like this. Maybe a Christmas present idea????
