We enjoyed the glorious sunshine this weekend with a trip to Brighton. We went on the @brightoni360official which is right by the sea front.
The i360 pod take a slow journey up, allowing you to take in views across Brighton and the South Downs 450ft above ground. There’s a bar inside with drinks and snacks available to purchase and the experience lasts 25 minutes.
Afterwards, we headed to the open air roller rink for a roller skating session!

![[AD] The sun has finally made an appearance and the boys have been making the most of it by spending it
in the garden.

Last weekend we were invited to try out @tsarettaspice’s new Bottomless Brunch menu and I can tell you it was thumbs up all round!

![📚 Are you ready for World Book Day? 📚
[AD - Gifted] I don't know about you, but I have never made the boys a costume for #WorldBookDay. I just don't have it in me to be creative that way. Their costumes have always been bought or cobbled together with what we already have, and luckily, the school allow you to wear pyjamas to school, which makes things a lot easier!
M has been living in his @TheRealTomGates pyjamas recently, and I think he might wear these when his World Book Day dress-up day comes around (the school celebrate with Book Week rather than just Book Day)
The boys have been fans of Tom Gates for a while now. M has always loved reading books that make him laugh and contain humour - they tend to keep him engaged in reading.

We went to check out the newly opened @laserquestkingston last week.
Laser Quest, VR Experiences and Arcades all under one roof means only one thing - bundles of fun and games for the kids at really affordable prices.
Laser Quest games start from just £7.95 but you can also buy a Laserquest and VR Experience combo pass.
You need to purchase tokens for the arcades (they’re all 1 token to play). Arcade tokens are 6 for £5 or 12 for £10
Feeling super lucky that this is practically on our doorstep and we will definitely be back again because Mr H came second in our Laser Quest game and refuses to be beaten by E!

Some over you will have hopped over from Adventures of a Novice Mum’s post so without further ado welcome to my first post of #12DaysofParenting.
I joined #12DaysofParenting over three months ago thinking I would be organised and would have all of these posts written up beforehand and scheduled. Well…how wrong was I?
Life has been manic over the last month or so, so here I am writing this up at the last minute. I am very much looking forward to taking some time over the Christmas holidays to recharge and refresh ready for the New Year!
The boys finish up nursery and school next week and I also finish work so I cannot wait! I love having this time of year off because it means I get to spend time with the boys in the run-up to Christmas. We won’t have to wake early and rush to get out of the door, we can pootle about in our pyjamas if we wish and we can listen to Christmas songs and watch movies! We usually bake gingerbread to make our gingerbread house, make fudge and, last year was our first year of putting together a chocolate train – something E is very excited about re-creating again.
I always try to buy some Christmas themed activities from places like Poundland that we can do together. Last year I bought a Christmas bunting set that E could colour in and the year before that I bought the Usborne Activities Christmas Decorations book which I actually really enjoyed doing.
We also enjoy going to our local garden centre which is absolutely huge and houses the most amazing Christmas decorations you have ever seen! We can easily spend an afternoon looking around before finishing off by having a treat in the cafe.
We also have a new soft play place open which is within walking distance from our house so I think we will most definitely be paying them a visit over the holidays. Luckily the boys are now both old enough to go and happily play without me having to attempt to retrieve them because they got stuck! I am hoping to be able to go there for a bit of respite so they can burn some energy off and I can enjoy a nice cup of tea with cake!

My previous hop also had visit to a garden centre on their list of things to do. I’ve challenged myself to work on a to-do list for this coming holiday. As for leaving it all to the last minute, shall I say that I can very much relate! 🙂
