My little helpers – Living Arrows 11/52

It may still be a few weeks away but I am really looking forward to the Easter holidays. Spring will have sprung by then, clocks will have gone forward meaning we’ll be able to enjoy the lighter evenings and the (hopefully) slightly warmer weather! I have also taken time off to spend with the boys so I am on count down.

We had a pretty non-eventful week last week. The boys went to school in their onesies and Red Noses on Friday for Comic Relief, it also coincided with the end of their Book Week at school – hence going in with their onesies. There was a Book Fair at the end of the day, armed with the £1 off vouchers they both went to pick a book to buy and bring home.

Saturday was spent ferrying M around as he had two parties to go to. We also drove around some of the areas we are considering moving to, to see what they were like and the proximity to secondary schools. We’re still no closer to deciding what to do though. E has also thrown a spanner in the works as he’s told us he wants to go to a mixed school and there aren’t many of those around our way! We ended the day with pizza and watched the new Jurassic World movie.

I spent Sunday cleaning the house and having another good clearout. I’m amazed at how much “stuff” we have and don’t use!

After doing their homework, the boys had a play before telling us they were “bored” and didn’t know what to do so we put them to work. They helped us to start sanding down the woodwork in our hallway which they thoroughly enjoyed!

I’m sharing weekly photos of the boys to celebrate their childhood and linking up to the Living Arrows linky

  1. Athena and Troy love helping with jobs like that – it always makes them feel so grown up! It sounds like you had a non-eventful but productive week x
