The calm before the storm – Living Arrows 11/52

I don’t know whether I am coming or going at the moment – hence why this post is so late. I do know one thing though, I am gettting rather fed up of all the coronavirus headlines everywhere – you just can’t escape it and it is starting to wear me down.

Looking back at it now, last week was our last “normal” week that we will have for a good while. There were always talk of UK schools closing at some point so I spent the majority of last week preparing for this eventuality by stocking up on printer ink and craft bits and pieces.

The boys had Book Week at school which is held every year and they focus the week on lots of book-related actitvities. M had his school assembly on Wednesday so I worked from home so that I could watch it. Their topic this term was “Healthy Heroes” and he was a footballer in it, dribbling the ball!

Friday was their dress-up/PJ day to mark the end of Book Week. E decided to just go in his Arsenal pyjamas and dressing gown and M wore his Pug onesie that he got for his birthday and went as “Pig” from the Pig the Pug books.

We were social distancing at the weekend so we spent the time doing homework and catching up with chores around the house – the boys even joined in with dusting!

I’m sharing weekly photos of the boys to celebrate their childhood and linking up to the Living Arrows linky
