O’ Christmas Tree – Living Arrows 49/52

It’s that crazy busy time of year again isn’t it? I had written my Living Arrows post for last week but never published it – oops! I’ve never missed one so here it is, a week late.

It felt like everyone all over my social media put their Christmas tree up last week, so I was on a mission to do ours this weekend. Over the last few years, we have always gone out and chosen a real tree together. It’s been one of our Christmas traditions, but this year, we opted for an artificial tree.

Once we put the Christmas lights on, the boys set about decorating it with some festive tunes on in the background. It was such a lovely way to spend our Sunday afternoon. We don’t have much of a theme to our tree. It’s a bit of a mish-mash of all the decorations we have collected over the years. Many of them bring back special memories of when the boys were little. M even commented that the tree was like a timeline – and it really is! I try to add a new decoration to it each year to mark the boys getting a year older.

I’m sharing weekly photos of the boys to celebrate their childhood and linking up to the Living Arrows linky
