Play Dates – Living Arrows 7/52

It was the last week of school before half-term last week and it was rather busy. The boys had Parents Evening on Wednesday, both are doing well. M’s teacher talked about his love for Science which isn’t the first time its been mentioned to us. He seems to really enjoy it which is really lovely to hear. E is doing really well in Year 5 but just need to build on his confidence. All in all, they had glowing reports.

After school on Thursday, M had two of his school friends round for a play date. We had been meaning to organise one for ages so he was very excited to have them over. Friday was the last day before half-term and I had booked the boy’s in for a much-needed haircut after school.

The weekend was spent tidying the house and doing chores, M had a swimming lesson on Saturday morning and we went out for dinner in the evening.

Sunday was E’s turn to have a friend over for a playdate and we met friends later on in the afternoon and went out for dinner. The boys are so happy its half-term this week – they love staying in their pjs all day and with this weather, there will definitely be a lot of that happening!

I’m sharing weekly photos of the boys to celebrate their childhood and linking up to the Living Arrows linky

  1. It’s lovely to hear they’re doing well at school isn’t it? It sounds like your half term is much like ours with lots of staying in hiding from the weather – my boys love PJ days too 🙂 #LivingArrows

  2. We had lovely reports too – and also such a busy week! We were very ready for half term. I hope you’ve had a great week x

  3. Hope you had a great half term. I really need to get my boys hair cut! Sounds like the school reports went really well. X
