Toffifee – a treat for the whole family

Now it’s officially December we are all on countdown mode until the Christmas break. It’s the one time of year Mr H manages to actually take some proper time off which means we get to enjoy the festivities and have some quality family time together.

We usually host Christmas and while we love the big get-together, the run-up to the big day can be quite manic with getting the house ready for our guests.

As soon as Christmas day is out of the way we all officially get to relax. We love being able to have lazy mornings in our pyjamas.  Some days, the boys will happily stay in them all day playing with their new toys. We try not to fill our days over the break with too much. We’ll have a few days out here and there visiting family and friends and head out for some walks to get some fresh air but we do love to spend time pottering around at home having indoor picnics watching Christmas movies and playing games. I am even planning on introducing the boys to the traditional Monopoly board this year!

Indoor picnic – why not?

The other thing we enjoy doing, of course, is indulging in sweet treats! It’s like a requirement over the Christmas break so we were thrilled when Toffifee sent us the most amazing hamper of goodies for us to dive into.

Toffifee – a treat for the whole family

Toffifee is a crunchy hazelnut cup with chewy caramel, nougat cream and dark chocolate that was launched in Germany in 1973 and was the first confectionery of its kind. I find the chocolate and caramel melts in your mouth which then leaves you with the delicious crunch of hazelnut which is so moreish!

They are celebrating the festive season with a range of Christmas packs that come in 12, 18 and 48 piece boxes making it the perfect treat to share with the whole family. The 12-piece box would make a great stocking filler so I think I’ll be popping these into the boy’s stockings on Christmas eve as an extra treat. I’m sure we’ll also be sharing a box (or two!) of these over the Christmas break while watching Christmas movies or competing with each other over board games and Mario Kart!

Toffifee is available at Poundland, B&M and most supermarkets – why not pick up a box to share with your family too?
