Review: Schleich Wildlife

Schleich are well known for their figurines and we are no strangers to them in our household. We own several dinosaur figures from Schleich.

Recently, we were sent a few items from their new wildlife range which launched in March.

The Lion Cave set comes with a lioness and a very realistic looking cave. I was surprised at the weight of the cave. E had fun putting this together and arranging the plants.

The Shark set includes a white shark, tiger shark and a blue shark. Each of which E could identify straight away. He was very happy to be able to add these to his ever-growing collection of sharks.

The figures themselves are hand-painted and as with all Schleich figures are very sturdy and durable.

The boys do love imaginative play and have happily played with both these sets regularly over the last couple of weeks. Although it says they are predominantly suitable for pre-school children this did not stop E who is 5 from enjoying these figures – especially the shark ones! In fact – they loved the shark set so much that they took them into the bath the first evening they had them and also requested we took them with us on holiday!

The Cave set currently retails at £10.99 and the Shark set retails at £11.99 on Amazon.

*We were sent both Schleich sets in exchange for this review. All opinions are honest and my own.
